Additional controls.

To display chance to hit hold 'Alt' while aiming at the target or press 'y'.

Burst duration (2 ... 12) can be adjusted with a mouse wheel. Current choice is displayed on a cursor-sight.

In the sector inventory press "Del" to delete the entire inventory list. To delete a single item hold "Alt" and left-click on it.

Press 'j' to aim your gun. (required to use night vision goggles and a sniper scope)

To toggle turn based mode press 'd' when enemies are present in the sector.

To unload LAW  press 'Alt' + 'u'.

To set sandbags on the ground press '[' or ']'. To set bigger sandbags press '[' or ']' + 'Alt'. To remove sandbags press '[' or ']' again.

To adjust screen brightness press 'Alt' + '-' or 'Alt' + '='.

To enable or disable grenade delay, use Alt + 'u'.

To adjust throwing angle for grenades, use the mouse wheel.

To clear sector of bodies from dead enemies, use Alt + 'c'.

To equip items bound to hot keys, use Alt + '1', '2', '3', '4', or '5'. Hot key configuration is stored in the HotItem section of the TTX.txt.

If frozen, terminate the program using Ctrl + Break.

To use the debug code Ctrl + GABBI, you must run the game from the command line with switch -CHEATS


In the ttx.txt file you can find characteristics specifications of all weapons and items, also you can change this options for items and weapons in MS Excel. File TTX_description.txt describes the meaning of customizable settings for these items.

File noptions.ini contains customizable game settings.

Option "Screen=" in noptions.ini file sets the screen resolution.
The possible values for this option are:
640 (640x480)
800 (800x600)
1024 (1024x768)
1280 (1280x1024)
WXGA (1280x800)
OTHER wh dx dy (other resolution)

For example: 
Screen = 1280
or
Screen = OTHER 1024 600 0 0
The last two numbers can be are manually chosen (typically from -10 to 10). They adjust Mercs alignment in a tile.

Also, game screen resolution can be changed by adding one of the following parameters to the command line (or shortcut properties) when launching ja2.exe
-800 (800x600)
-1024 (1024x768)
-1280 (1280x1024)
-WXGA (1280x800)
